Life between worlds can be heavy. You may be carrying family expectations, navigating cultural shifts, or holding grief and identity questions that don’t always have space to be spoken. Here, you don’t have to do it alone. At LHC Wellness, your whole story is seen—your culture, your spirit, your resilience, and your quiet struggles. We offer culturally sensitive therapy and support to individuals, couples, and families whose lives are shaped by migration, collective responsibility, and quiet resilience.

Whether you’re working through trauma, relationship struggles, or the weight of being “the strong one,” this is a space for clarity, healing, and reconnection. You don’t have to choose between your heritage and your well-being—you can have both.

OUR SERVICES
A smiling woman with braided hair and jewelry, wearing a yellow top and black pants, standing against a colorful abstract wall.

Hello! I’m glad you’re here!

I’m Berline, the Founder of Luminary Hope Counselling & Wellness Services. I’m psychotherapist, neuroscientist, and educator deeply committed to supporting individuals, Couples, and families whose lives are shaped by migration, collective responsibility, and quiet resilience.

I chose the name Luminary Hope Counselling because it reflects what I want every client to find in our work together: light in the darkness, hope in the struggle, and the strength to keep moving forward. It’s a name that holds space for pain and possibility. For the past and the future. For who you are and who you're becoming.

As an immigrant, I’ve witnessed firsthand how culturally mismatched or limited therapy services can leave immigrants, people of color, and spiritual individuals feeling unseen or misunderstood. This inspired me to create a therapeutic space where cultural roots are not only accepted but also honored—and where healing encompasses the mind, body, community, and spirit.

At Luminary Hope Counselling, our goal is not just to reduce distress—but to help you reconnect with your values, restore balance, and rediscover your inner light. You don’t have to fit into a mold to heal. You need the proper support.

Together, Luminary Hope is about helping you reconnect with your light—your identity, your purpose, your courage—while honoring the cultural and spiritual roots that shape your path.

At Luminary Hope, you don’t have to choose between your culture and your well-being. You can have both.
